20 Enchanting Fall Porches You’ll Love

Get ready to “fall” for these 20 to-die-for porches!

These stunners bring the season alive with so much color and texture that you’ll have a hard time picking a favorite.

Let’s get started.

1. Classic Fall Style

Sandra Morgan Living

It’s got everything we love: heirloom pumpkins, ornamental kale, colorful mums, candles, and corn stalks. Complementing the season’s bounty with rich green tones are stately boxwoods and column arborvitae.

2. Ready for Halloween

The Farmhouse Pages

We couldn’t resist this dynamic duo! The witch hat on that kitten is priceless.

And this porch makes the perfect backdrop for these furry trick-or-treaters (and the human kind, too!). When Halloween is over, just remove the jack-o-lanterns and scarecrow, and you’re ready for Thanksgiving.

3. A Hint of Spookiness

Spooky Horror Halloween

Okay, one more Halloween-inspired porch…because they are so much fun! Here, grapevine pumpkins set atop garden urns mix perfectly with pumpkins, gourds, fall leaves (repeated on the garland and wreaths), and a collection of candle lanterns.

The crows bring the Halloween theme, but are easily removed to reveal a timeless fall porch.

4. More is More!

Samantha Jo Morgan

When you have the room, why hold back? More is definitely more on this charming porch. In this picture alone, we counted 18 candles (5 in lanterns), 20 pumpkins, 9 mums, 2 bundles of corn stalks, and a grapevine tree. But, we’re sure we missed some!

5. Colonial Welcome

Sarah Williams Home

Maybe it’s the eagle, maybe it’s the transom and lanterns, but this entry feels so perfectly colonial. Gourds in muted shades of green and orange mix beautifully with the hues of the corn stalks and vibrant orange mums.

Add that wonderful wheat wreath on a black door and I can almost see the Mayflower!

6. Tone on Tone

Whitetail Farmhouse

This monochromatic display of matching pumpkins and mums is broken up just enough with the aged pails and bales of hay. It’s simple and elegant, rustic and charming.

7. Country Crocks

Home Sweet Farm Home

What a wonderful way to put a collection of vintage crocks to use. An added bonus: the weight of these beauties ensures the mums won’t blow over. The rust and orange color of the mums plays sweetly with the wooden crate and heirloom pumpkins.

8. Hey Boo!

Divine Ivy

Put a slightly feminine spin on the typical fall porch with a wreath featuring leaves and apples in shades of pink. Continue the color choice with salmon-hued pumpkins accented with the beautiful gray-green of the Jarrahdale variety.

A fun welcome mat offers a not-too-serious fall welcome.

9. Beautiful Baskets

House Seven Design

I want these baskets! The size, the texture, the color – what’s not to love? Insert your favorite fall annuals and add some pumpkins. You are ready for the season!

10. Black Magic

Balsam Hill

Gorgeous lanterns and urns in black metal set the stage for this beautiful entry. The leaves soften the urns and create a wonderful spot for stacking heirloom pumpkins (probably the Long Island Cheese variety).

A couple of clay pots with ornamental kale, a few more orange pumpkins, and a bright berry wreath complete the look.

11. Garland Greeting

One Kind Design

This charmer takes full advantage of the graceful curves of the doorframe (and that door is to die for!). A lush garland of green leaves sends a joyful message that winter isn’t here yet!

Continuing the green theme are pots spilling over with ornamental kale and cabbage. More green leaves separate layers of pumpkins stacked in twin urns. And the whole thing is topped off with a deep red wreath and green bow.

12. Bountiful Basket

Nora Murphy Country House

Alright, someone needs to tell me where to get these amazing baskets! The one on this front door is phenomenal. And we love the use of upside down tomato cages in the pots to contain a mix of pumpkins and gourds. Wonderful!

13. Victorian Elegance

@HousesVictorian

As if the photo of the Victorian row houses isn’t incredible enough, we get these enormous urns filled with ivy, moss, and pumpkins. It just feels decadent…and I love it.

14. French Country

Splendor in the South

Not much was needed to up the fabulous quotient at this French country-inspired residence. Some birch branches, hay bales, and gourds, along with mums planted inside the boxwood-lined bed.

The wreath is loaded with dried leaves and blooms in perfectly-faded autumn tones.

15. Just Wow

J. Cathell

“Just wow” is what went through my head when I came across this amazing abode. Besides the fact that the house is spectacular, the fall decor is breathtaking!

The scale of the planters, which anchor the entry, is perfect for the large house. Height is achieved with pumpkin stacks in the planters up front and arborvitae up close to the house. Pumpkins, mums, and gourds seem to spill forth from the planters, softening the stone facade and bringing beautiful color and texture to the display.

16. Southern Sweetness

At Home Arkansas

There’s something so sweet about this Arkansas porch. Everything just sort of guides you right up the stairs to the front doors. Purple mums, potted kales, corn stalks, dried corn, and that wonderful leafy garland make this a super sweet fall welcome.

17. Towering Gourds

Backyard Buildings

Two words: Love it! Gigantic planters filled with bright yellow mums encircling these stop-you-in-your-tracks pumpkin towers. Brilliant!

18. Shed Worthy

Ella Claire

Dressing up your potting shed for the holidays is a definite “yes” in our book! We love the softer weave on the baskets, though you’d want to bring those in when it rains. It’s a darling look bound to put a smile on your face.

19. Tobacco Basket Entry

Country Living

Tobacco baskets bring a rustic fall charm to any home, including this adorable porch (pup included!). Add some hearty magnolia leaves for a touch of green against the pumpkin-colored door. On the porch and steps, oak stumps make perfect stands for pumpkins, lanterns, and mums.

20. Autumn Inspiration

Liz Marie Blog

Last, but certainly not least, is one of our all-time favorite porches. Not only do we love the farmhouse vibe, but we also love that it’s a lot without feeling like too much. Bravo!
