Pour the oyster crackers into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In a separate small bowl or glass measuring cup, combine the remaining ingredients (vegetable oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, lemon pepper, and dried dill).
Pour the oil mixture over the ranch crackers in the bowl and stir till all of the crackers are coated. Continue to stir till all of the oil is absorbed.
Spread the crackers out on a rimmed baking sheet and allow them to dry for about 20 minutes. When they are dry to the touch, transfer them to an airtight container.
Notes
The quality of the oyster crackers you use makes a big difference with this recipe. If the cracker is on the hard side (vs. the melt-in-your-mouth kind), it may not absorb the oil very well, which can leave the crackers greasy. You want a cracker that has some permeability to the crust. The Premium brand is an excellent choice.
