For years, I’ve been collecting images of Christmas wreaths on Pinterest. Every holiday season, I visit my board for inspiration and wanted to share some of my favorites with you.
(The cover image is one of my wreaths this year – I’m going with bells and snowy pinecones!)
Let’s get started!
This beauty mixes satin and velvet ribbon with a cluster of brass jingle bells. The traditional fir wreath is accented with cedar sprigs and pinecones for interest and texture.
How cute and clever! I fell in love with this chicken wreath when I spotted it several years ago. The body is made from artificial greenery including faux balsam and white pine. Red and plaid accents make this adorable wreath a real conversation piece.
There’s just something about a classic wreath with a big red bow. Lush evergreens and a bright red bow make a wonderful holiday statement. A couple of pine cones add texture, but these wreaths would look just as stately without them.
Vintage trucks seem to have a special holiday quality, so why not adorn your wreath with one? In this version, a metal truck decoration takes center stage in a wreath of mixed greens and plaid bows. Berries and pinecones add to the holiday flare!
I love nature-inspired holiday decor and this wreath doesn’t disappoint. Cute owls perched on evergreen branches accented with grapevine, pinecones, white berries, and a big burlap bow.
Wreaths don’t have to be round! If you’re looking for a departure from the standard, try a box shape. Birch branches reinforce the square design and the little stars and paper house take this from so-so to so special!
Citrus fruits have been hallmarks of Christmastime for decades. Stud them with cloves and star anise to make interesting designs and add to the lovely aroma. A couple of artichokes round out the edibles, while leaves, berries, and pinecones fill in gaps and add dimension.
Adorable alert! What a great idea – hang three wreaths in graduated sizes to create a snowman. A scarf, hat, and mittens make this DIY project super cute and oh-so easy.
Classic red tartan…another harbinger of the holidays. I have this exact ribbon and have used it to decorate wreaths and wrap gifts.
As someone who lives near the ocean, I’m a sucker for a coastal wreath. Starfish are perfect accents for the holidays, and with pinecones and some dried baby’s breath, you have a wreath fit for the seaside.
